I just recently obtained a 1983 Honda 200E ....Since i have totally ripped it don to just the engine on the frame.
Questions:
1. How hard is it to find new shocks for this machine? The ones i have seem screwed when i took the front wheel off...the right hand lower shock fell right off.
2. Does any body know if the still make brake pads for the drum brakes on these things?
3. There is one lever i can't figure out what it does.. Top of the engine on the right hand side.. near the cam casing.. is it for decompression or what?

Another amazing resource is eBay. You can find used and new parts for usually very cheap. It is where I get all my stuff.
Also, any dealer that works with 'parts unlimited' will have new or aftermarket items that you want.
Good luck

Hello, I'm from the east end of London. As far as going to snowline, they have the parts but they are really expensive. I found that it is cheaper to get the parts from Sandpuppie. ( board member) Awsome guy, will treat you good! When you get your ride back together, or need a hand give me a shout! I rebuilt an '83 200e
last spring for my wifes cousin.
