Dam guy's i've had it ... i can't seem to get this thing going ... Went out trail riding, got the 250R dirty so i washed it ,no it won't start , took Ac reg. / CDI / Coil / Stator electronics and clean nothing , so i buy a ac regulator , CDI , and a Stator installed everything & test for spark > has big blue spark :beer , put everything back together gas tank , every thing , turn the petcock on went to kick it over about 30 kicks nothing ... removed the spark plug and kicked it over and no spark now !!! WTF ?
Had trouble with the Stator & Fly wheel, since i don't have a fly wheel holder ($40 bucks ) i pass on it ....
The manual say install in reverse order ... so i did
is their a certian way the fly wheel needs to be installed ???
Put the Key way on the crank , Slip on the Fly Wheel with the groove on the key way ...
Could it be i have to line up the timing marks with something or ???
What should i do?

where's the ground at ?
is it the green wire at the end of the frame close to the grab bar bolt hole ?
if so i cleaned & sand it down ...

If you have access to a multimeter, Check Continuity from engine to frame. I seriously doubt its anything major, just something stupid that your consistently overlooking.

I'll bet you if you pull start it the thing fires right up!
Just a thought, I've put my self through #$%@ rebuilding and inspecting only to do something as dumb as pull start it to see it fire after hours of my efforts!
Give it a try, cant hurt.

I wish I had a dollar for every time I've overlooked the obvious.
In my case though, it's always turned out to be the same cause...
The loose nut behind the wrench.!!!!:wondering

good deal, glad shes running, i had a 200 that drove me crazy, (my first wheeler mind you) had everything required to make it run, finally got it runnin, took her for her madien voyage..all was going smooth, got just far enough from the house for it to be a long walk. and it puked.. lol well i messed with it for weeks (timing and all that happy crap) cuz it wouldnt run, and finally pulled the fly wheel.. and some one had left a damn 8mm socket in there (me or my buddy, athough it was HIS socket lol) and it just annihilated my stator..  lol just how it goes sometimes.
