Guys, I can't speak for Jason but there really isn't a whole lot of room for webbing. These aren't like Quad nerfs that are big and square. They taper in a bunch for a trike and there's barely enough room to get your foot in there to shift, let alone get your leg down thru there.
Aside from the standard cosmetics, no need for nets. Besides if we all followed what was normal and safe we'd all be on Quads to begin with!
I can say i've been running a set of these nerfs for a whole season with no issues.(and I actually use mine)
Jason, I like the kick ups! When can we rework mine?!!? (nice idea by the way, lol)

Kintore, I'm workin on It buddy. I need to make the Z nerf's from bigger tubing. I have to take care of deathman53. He want's pro peg's built Into his. I've been talking with Derrick about the Z nerf's & we have come up with a good Idea. I just need some time to get Em done. Work keep's me real busy & that pay's the bill's. So I squeeze all the time I can Into workin on 3 wheeler's.
Yamahondaman, The R Is real dirty, It's my favorite beater ride. I keep It like that to make the nerf's stick out :beer

Wow those raised up mud buggies are pretty cool lookin. I hope to get some practice run's In at Silver Lakes sand drag's this spring. You can get some major traction In the sand :beer
The nerf's are made from 1" x .125 wall tubing. The last couple sets I made were thinner. Derrick was my real tester of strength, he has the thinner tubing & they held up ok. The thicker stuff Is so much easier to weld without burning through. The Z nerf's will probly be made from 1- 1/4 - .125 tubing so I can add some other cool stuff to them. Just got my hand's on a tubing bender that will make these things so much nicer :w00t
Hey big D the thick aluminum bends perfect, without kinking

the 1/8" thick tubing holds up good ??

Yep I think the 1/8" will be sweet. The first 2 set's were half that thickness. I use my nerf's as an extra foot peg. You can put your heel on the rear tube & the front of your foot on the foot peg. They are super cool once you get used to having them on there.
