I changed oil today and my clutch started slipping in the top 3 gears. I think I read somewhere that the type of oil can affect the clutch? I this right?? I used Castroil 10w-40, not synthetic, just plain oil...

I've ran regular "just plain oil" in my machines for the past 19 years and never had oil related trouble with auto clutches or manuals. From what I have gathered, it seems to me that changing from one oil type to the other might cause trouble, but I've never tried it...
