86R .........i got a case saver i never ran one on the bike before. then i broke the case ,now i wont run it without one.

i put the case saver on and it does not look like there will be room for the chain.

it is one of those case savers that have a hole in it and slip over the shifter shaft very sturdy looking.

i have always ran 15/39 . i geuse i will need a new front sproket .

a 14 should fit hugh? if it need a 13 what rear sproket should i go with. i would not mind a little more pep but i think 13/39 would be to much.

i put the jug and and instaled the case saver and the engine into the bike.

i can instal the 15 tooth sproket but there is no way the chain will go on.

what i hope is that with a 14 tooth it will work fine.
any of you have that style of case saver and can tell me what is the largest sproket you can run?

stock is 13/39, I use 14/38 on my bikes, you have to grind the case savers some for the chain to fit. If you use 14/36 you will be at the same ratio as 15/39.

you got a picture of that 14 in there? did you have to grind so much that the case saver is compramized?
