Does anyone know if the hi/low gearbox of a 110 will fit
a 125m? If so will it effect the gearing?
thanks for the help

Now then Jason T, glad to see another person form the UK!, Does the 125 already have a low box? if it does the gears might fit out of a 110 but I doubt if there would be any difference in gearing, if the 125 doesn't have a low box then I doubt it would fit, if you want it geared lower get a smaller sprocket for the front, (-1 or 2 teeth) or a bigger one for the rear +3 maybe?

We are trying to lower the gearing a bit because first is a bit low and secound is a bit high. The 125m does have a hi/low box just like the 110, I just wondered if the gears inside are the same. We have both bikes and the 110 seems to be lower geared, but has a larger front sprocket which I think should give higher gearing. So we tried to fit a smaller sprocket on the front, but this caused the chain to catch on the gearbox case :(
The larger sprocket on the back seems like a better solution, its finding one that is the problem.
Thanks for the help
