Some of you know that I have tore down my 200x and painted the frame and all that. I got it all back together and I put off painting the tank. It's been about a month since I've done my frame. I forget the correct mixture of the paint. I know its 8:1:4.. The problem is, I don't know if it's 1 part hardner or 1 part reducer. And 4 parts harder, or 4 parts reducer. I beleive its 8 parts paint, 1 part harder and 4 parts reducer, but let me know if that is correct or not. Thanks a bunch.

This is a guess but I would say 8 paint, 1 hardener and 4 reducer. What kind of paint, what brand etc, would be helpful. In all my experiences those ratios make the most sense. I use a brand called Matrix and it is nice as it is 1:1.
sound like sherwin williams or martin senour single stage, if thats the case its 8:4:1 8 PARTS PAINT 4 parts reducer and 1 part hardener, if it is single stage change it to 8:3:1 it will cover better, and you will not affect the drying time.

Not sure if it is supreme or not... I can check tommarow morning. Supposed to rain:crazy: tommarrow, and today it was too windy, but I did manage to get the first coat of primer on and got it sanded.

Alright thanks... I was pretty sure that it was correct, since I thought it would be to thick with 4 parts hardner.... Thanks a bunch
P.S. I'll post pic's of it complete. I've got the first coat of primer on and sanded smoother than a babies butt. Another coat then the paint. The Paint supply store (Armstrong) told me that it would be gas proof hopefully they are correct.
