Hello all, this is my first post here. I have 2 old honda three wheelers that i want to fix back up to take out to Glamis. Ijust need some help. I am not sure of the years, but the first one is a 250 sx probably '82, and a 200 with a built 185, not sure of the year but this bike does not have front brakes and the rear brakes are drums. I am planning on starting on one bike at a time, I am going to start with the 200.

-Now i need to buy some new rims and tires. What are the offset and lug pattern? I want to get some 10s for the rear.

-Where can I find a front rim with a good desert tire, like a straight fin down the center?

-one fork is bent. I was thinking about putting a 250 front end on it, while adding a front brake. Any suggestions?

-Where can I get a extended swing arm and wide axle?

-also i want to get ride of the drum brake in the rear and add a disk? Am I able to use the one of of the 250? Is anything interchangable between these old trikes (not just the ones I have, but compared to other honda trikes)

-what about specifics? like how much watts does the stock stator provide?

Thanks in advance

First off Welcome to the boards.

They didnt make the 250sx until 85. Some of those parts, the best place to look will be ebay, or search the classifieds here in the forums.

With the extended swinger, I dont think I've ever seen an sx with one. The driveshaft would give you a fight, but I'd bet its been done before.

Do a search here in the forums if no one gives you any pointers, as I know that most of your questions have been answered in older posts.

You found the right place, the members here will be able to help you with all of your questions and issues.

If it is a chain drive, then its not a 250sx at all. Can you post any pictures?

The sister site and only other good one I know of is www.3Wheeler.org . A lot of the members here also belong to this board.
