200M.....whats it worth?

I found out a guy on my street has a machine shop in his back yard and I went down to talk to him. Come to find out he has a really clean 200M that he is asking $800 for. Its about a 8.75 on a 1-10 scale. Is it worth it? the only thing I see are some cosmetic imperfections due to age. Has a rack and a trailer ball. I also scored a kick ass tank for my 85/86R project with OEM shrouds in great shape.

That seems high to me. Maybe around 600. I got my 200S 84 for 100 bucks! what a deal and it was near mint! Just my 2 cents on that price.

I understand. I am not really interested as my R project is suckin up all my funds and energy. I would figure $800 is a bit high but then I guess if it was mine and thats what it was worth to me I'd ask it too. He said if he can sell it for $800 he'll sell it but if not hes gonna keep and use it to pull a trailer/yard work etc. The cool thing is he's got some R stuff he's gonna round up for me to sift through. The tank&shrouds are as nice or better than a cople on ebay going for $75&up. I hope hes got more stuff I need. Kinda nice knowing that when its time for a top end rebuild I"ll only have to walk 3 houses down to have my cylinder bored.
