i only knew the price from a snowmobile, i thought it was for 1 cylinder, might have been from the whole thing. i do know that if they have to disasemble the engine, it will be spendy

Not to scare you but 350x timing chains are costly. $15 will only be a down payment. Partsfish.com list them for $90.23,
Thank God for Servicehonda.com they are a little cheaper ( not fee though ) Honda List Price $101.31 their price: $74.11

If you have the crank removed here it cost $45 to $60 I bought a cam chain and it was salty.
Now if you have them do all the work ( splitting the motor, pressing the crank, re-assemble, timing, ect ) then look to spend in the $700 to $1200 range.
If you lived close by I would help you do everything but the pressing of the crank for a little money ( cheap ). I have found over the years some of the best income I have made was in the smiles when someone hears a motor they worked on run again. Money can be gone quickly. Smiles and the memories of them last a long time.

K&L and D.I.D. also make cam chains for the 350X. Theses can be picked up for around $55.00 from a local shop. Just make them look them up. K&L also supplies valves for less. The intake valves are $8.00 each less and the exhaust are $12.00 each less.
