ok I want a set of aluminum rims for the rear of my tri moto. mainly this winter for the ice. Is there anything that will bolt up to the three stud hubs? Or should I buy a set for something else and drill holes?
I wouldnt mind drilling new holes, I can make a template on auto cad to get it right, and what not.
Is there anything that will work for a new front rim. or do I have to stick with te stocker for the front?
Thanks in advance!
how come yours has three studs. Mines a 200Ern and it has four studs, what givies..of course you can change your hubs to get a four stud rim, probley a more safer and easyer way to go

yep mine has 3 studs. Can I change hubs to anything more modern like a warrior, or a blaster? will they fit? or anythiing else really I dont care.
i can't see why not, as long as the hub fits the axal , try finding a set of hubs for a tri moto 200ern, i'm damn well sure it will fit:) ...

The YTM200 has the 3 bolt pattern (3x100) and 22" tires, the 200E/ERN has 4 bolt pattern (4x125?) and 25" tires.
What I plan on doing for mine is swaping over to 4x110 hubs so I can run the aluminum rims that are on my 200x, a lot of quads run 4x110 pattern too. I have heard that Blaster, Raptor, and I think Warrior hubs fit the axle. Slightly worn 200x hubs fit too so I am just going to be using them since I already have an extra set.

Oh, Duglas used to make (and still might) a 3x100 rim that fits the YTM200. I have seen a few pair for sale here and on ebay before, but not often. I don't think the rim is off centered so you could use them on the front as well. Doughdog posted about using an Odyssey front rim so that a narrower front tire could be used. Here is the thread about that... http://www.3wheelerworldforums.com/showthread.php?t=59005

I had the 3 bolt on my 1985 1/2 Tri Moto 225 DRS. Swapped them with my extra Blaster hubs. Also my 1985 1/2 Tri-Z has older Warrior hubs. Pretty much all YTM swap over with Warrior, Blaster, and TriZ. As long as they dont have to be beat on or have a sloppy fit. As always clean all splines and add some grease to prevent sticking later.
Hope I helped some what ??

I have a 84 Yamaha 225dx and a 83 200e for parts the 200 had the three bolt hubs and my 225 had four bolt hubs but it also had very worn out tires on it so i switched the hubs off the 200e and put them on my 225dx with the good tires already on the three bolt wheels so that i didnt have to mess with changing the tires to the other rims. The hubs fit it the same as the four bolt hubs did so they will work as well off of a 225dx which is much easier to get rims for...Hope this helps....

There are a bunch of hubs for warriors, and blasters on ebay. I think I will grab a set, and give them a try. The splines on my axle are good so the should help.
