anyone know why my 200 trimoto would be bogging down when i give it gas up a slight hill i cant figure it out im told it could be that i have no air filter but i dont know anyone help me out...
EDIT: this is a post by my friend, im letting him use my account, so i cant see this stuff, im goin off memory... we screwed with his carb, like with all of the screws on the outside of it.... is there a way to like "reset" the carb, so to say, like turn all screws left, then work from there? or if someone could post some pics of necessary screws i.e. air fuel mixture or something like that?

Myne did that when I was low on gas one time. I always make sure the gas tank is full each time I ride it now.

turn the mixture screw (on the bottom front going up) all the way in , then back it out 1 1/2 turns . running with out a filter will distroy the engine in a short short time . Sand, mud, dust, and dirt with get sucked in and wear the rings out causing it to smoke and burn oil. It sounds to me like the carb needs to be cleand out real good and the float adjusted . If the float is set to low or if theres trash in the petcock it would cause those problems.

Put an airfilter, you are running rich with out it and sand a dirt can get in and screw you whole engine up. Atleast put 2 socks over the carb with a rubberband.
