I found this 1986 Yamaha Tri Zinger 60cc in the local classifieds. I saw it in the paper about 4pm and had it in the back of my truck by 5pm. It's now stashed away until xmas.
This trike is in almost MINT condition. Runs GREAT. 2-stroke, auto, oil injected. The sellers daughter (she's in the pic but I cropped it) drove it around while I checked it out. I gave 4 bills for it. It looks and runs like brand new. My boy is going to love it!

is what you paid what they usualy go for... cause that makes me alot happier lol... i know a 4 wheeler would be safer for her to learn on... but i want her to learn on a 3 wheeler like i did and maybe have the same love for them as me..... she will be 4 in april so i think it is a tad bit early for her ... a little 50 would prolly be perfect for her though at this age...she is pretty tall like her dad... lol so im not sure weather i should get maybe a 70 or a 60 like you did... ill prolly end up getting the one a tad bit bigger so she doesnt out grow it so quickely..for a small girl like her should i start her off on a little 2 smoke or a 4 stroke.. or do the little 2 smokes act like 4 strokes... i dont realy want anything that will get her into to much trouble.. but im sure they have throtttle limiters on them dont they...im only 21 with a daughter but i think it will be bad ass getting her into 3 wheelers like her dad...... lol sorry for taking over you post man...:Bounce

No problem my man.
My son turned 6 this past summer. I bought a Yamaha YFM100 (100cc) quad for him. It's auto clutch but you do have to shift. He fits on it good, but it's a little high off the ground and does have a lot of power.
I don't want to get rid of it because I know once he gets used to a 50-70cc that 100cc will be just right and last him a long time.
So I've been looking for the atc70 or anything 50-70cc for a while now. I was even considering one of those chinese quads but really wanted a Honda.
But the ones I did find were just too much because of shipping, their condition, etc. I really wanted to get him something he could actually ride by himself for xmas.
So I just kept checking the classifieds and ebay (you might find something close by). I think this 60cc zinger is Perfect for him to learn on. No shifting, throttle limiter, working brakes (a MUST), etc.
I would think a 50cc would be better for your little girl at her age. I hope you find something man. And props to you for being a daddy to your little girl at 21. Some of my old friends still haven't grown up (we're all 30 something-I'm 36) and some split on their kids. I don't see how anybody could do that. I should say, former friends.
Anyway, If I were you I would probably go with a 50cc or maybe the zinger since it does have the throttle limiter and safety kill cord on the rear.

Had my son riding 110 at 4yr.(under close supervision) I finally bought a kazuma 50 for him for 5th birthday. It is alot safer but he drives it like he stole it. Know I am afraid to let him on the 110 because I think he will drive it like the quad. So sticking with the smaller trike might be better in the fact they will learn to be more carefull.

Hey thats cool man, been their done that. I got into some serious trouble when I was 20. I'm glad it happened because it made me grow up, fast. And yes things do happen for a reason. It's all in GOD's plan dude. Also, at the same time I was in all that trouble my dad was dying of cancer. Went through a lot of tough years but things like that make you stronger and grow, and definitely learn from it.
Your doing the right thing. One bit of advice, choose your friends carefully. Only the good ones will stick around when things get bad. Family will always be there.

Anyone know where I can find a .pdf manual for an '86 Zinger? I've googled but no dice. Haven't seen a Clymer either. Anyone have a part number for a Clymer that covers this trike?
Thanks.
