Ok so the front brake master on my 350X got screwed up. I somehow tried putting the wrong bolt in there to hold the handle on, and it broke off inside and then when I tried to drill it and tap it, I broke the perch off that the handle bolts to. So my question is.. where can I get one? I don't think Honda makes them anymore for the 350X.. what ones will interchange from other machines? Are there any warehouses/sites that may have some backed up in their inventory? I doubt it.. but hey.
And has anyone ever tried using paddles on their 350X in the snow? Here in PA we sometimes get a ridiculous amount of snow where it is very hard to get around with regular off-road tires because the snow is like 3/4 up the tire. I was considering buying some paddles on rims to change with the Holeshots on my 350X for when it gets real deep. Anyone ever use paddles in deep snow? (1ft and up) How did it work? Did it ruin the paddles or work well?
Thanks
Ben

any master will work as long as its for 7/8 bars and has a 10mm banjo bolt for the brake line. i used a master off a yfz yamaha on my 350x and now have brake lights larry

I've never tried paddles in snow but let us know how it does if you try it. I live in Ohio so I know about trying to ride in the white stuff also.:w00t:

i've used em in the snow and they do pretty good. as for the master most of the X, R, EX , and TRX should work and many many others.

Those are the two styles that I thought would work best in snow. The second one is the one that I would choose.. but which do you guys think would work best?

How deep was the snow you used them in? Did they get worn or torn up easily? Did they tear up the grass real bad?

Also...I bounght a chrome front M/C guard for the 350X M/C.. would it work on the 400EX M/C?

Snow paddles dig really really deep in the snow, if you have a couple feet dont do it. There are tires from DK called 4-snow that do really well in snow, ask billy about them, he has them on his 500R

Don't you mean "Unless you have a couple feet, dont do it"?
And:

Those don't look like they would have a ton of bite to them in the snow? Are you sure they would work better than paddle tires with smallish paddles? If those were on 4x110 rims I would snatch them up.. but gah they aren't.

The snow was mostly between 1-2 foot . The tread out lived the tire's . They where easier on the grass than my holeshot's .

Yeah ,the master cover should fit most all master's that look similar .
