Is this a Hondaline 300cc?

Is this a Hondaline 300cc Cylinder and Head? I'm almost positive it is but I need someone to confirm before I buy another Cylinder that goes in the trashcan. I just ordered a sleeve kit for my stock cylinder, but I can't very well turn down a 50cc bump :w00t:

If so, where can I find a piston for it?

Wait!!
The one pictured is not. For the 300 kit the head has all the fins perpendicular to the cylinder, see how half those fins on the head are at a 45 degree angel, that shows it is stock.

what was that red rider? I agree with TheFOx on this as well. The hondaline 300 also has a bigger cylinder in girth than the 250cc cylinder. You can see the bottom part of the cylinder gets smaller. On the 300, it stays the same with the top.

The Hondaline fins are not at an angle, and whole mess is the same thinkness (does not taper toward the bottom).

Like was said before the head looks totally different and the cylinder has 7 studs instead of 6 for the head. The 300 kit is on the left compared to a stock 81 setup.

Looks almost like a blaster head? I vaguely remember mine but i remember it look almost identical.

the Hondaline 300cc kit has A 7-BOLT HEAD!
most others do not!!

yeah 7 bolt head, and the fins are bigger and dont have a cut out all the way up in the fins, they stagered the cutout on the 300cc..the fins arent as rounded on the 300, they r more square....i agree with Dufrain, its a 83-84 head

Oh well...

Anyway, I got my sleeve and piston kit off a nice little shop on ebay and dropped it off at my engine builder yesterday so I should be reassembling my bike monday night. I'm still looking for a rear brake resevior cover so I can put my rear brakes back in service but I haven't been able to find even the whole rear resevior on ebay. Any of you have an 83' parts bike you could pull just the cover off of? I haven't been able to find an ATC/ATV junkyard down here in South Florida yet. Any help would be appreciated!

edit: here's the link to the sleeve / piston kit that saved me $70+ bucks off getting everything from L.A. Sleeve and they shipped it the next day.
