Hi,guys.I just finished painting my plow for my big red.A friend of mine did all the wielding and i did all the cutting and grinding.Im very pleased on how it turned out and can't wait to try it out in the snow.I should be ok with alittle weight on the back,my driveway is paved so that should help.I got this design from this site someone had one on a 350x it was a v plow but alot the same.Last year i was wishing for a big red with a plow. This year after getting good info from this site i got every thing i wanted.thanks alot,im trying to post my pictures here hope you see them.this winter a video will follow.

Very nice!
Does the lever get in the way of shifting?

kvinnie - it was me that had the similiar design on the 350X. You need some sort of break point or you risk serious damage to your frame. That plow looks completely solid. On the 350X plow, it had a weak link in the arms that go out to the plow that will give way if it take a hit. It was made of square tube - and the break point was thin walled square tube "spliced in" with a cotter pin. If I hit something - I bend the small piece of thin wall tubing and replace it. Although you did mention you have a paved driveway - you may be ok. Just keep that in mind. Trust me, if you hit something solid while plowing, you'll know it. You need some springs or something.
Anyway - looks real good! Nice work. Cheers.

looks awesome and fun lol, looks professional in my opinion keep it up!
Nice work, looks very professionaly done. I my self built one for my three wheeler, my handle is on the right side. The only thing is you have to keep up with the snow. I found with mine i have to stand on the two bars going to the plow and had to use cement blocks in the back on the rack.
happy plowing:)

It looks extremely nice... Just looks like it will take a extremely strong person to lift it up...Is it that hard, or is it the pictures just making look hard. lol... Good work

thanks,we played with the angle of the lifting handle until it was pretty good.without that little extension handle it was real hard to lift.the handle made all the difference in the world.
