350x brake interchange? / bearing ??

will any other rear master cylinders fit the 350x ? like the 300 or 400ex ?

what about axle bearings has anyone tried crossing them to and auto parts store bearing?

I'm not sure about the master cyl. I wondered that myself because the rebuild kit from honda is about 50 some dollars. Maybe some other knowledgeable soul on here will shed some light on this subject.

ok , talked to my local dealer ..he said that the 300ex and 400ex should work . so im going to try it .. i'll let you guys know how it fits.

I thought all the honda 250r's 300 ex and 400 ex and 350x rear axle bearings were all the same.I know the older 200x's do not fit.There is a Industry standard number for the bearings,So you can get them from a parts store,But All balls kits are so cheap and come with seals and they use a better bearing than parts stores.For some reason I cant remember the number on the rear bearings for sure,but i think it is 6908-2rs

OD's are the same. But ID's are different. I know this because I order rear bearings for my 84r. Well they send me some for 85-86. Pressed them bitchz in and slid the axle through. Wobble wobble.

Axles have different thicknesseses.

sorry,forgot to mention 85-86 250r.i was not talking about the older 250r,s.I konw the 85-86 r uses the same bearing as the 300,400ex.

Ok i just went to dennis kirk and cross-referenced all the numbers.The bearing number is 6908-2rs.They fit the 85-89 atc and trx 250r,all years 300ex, all years 250x, all years 400ex and both years of the 350x.If you go to the parts store,tell them you need 2 6908-2rs bearings.these will fit your 350x axle.like max said the aircooled 250r takes a different rear bearing.
