I think I got a decent deal, tell me what you guys think.
I just got it home and snapped a few pics, I know its dirty but thats how he sold it to me. It has a few big problems and a few small ones.
1. rear brakes dont work
2. Headlights don't work.
3. Gas tank is all dented up.
4. no skid plate
5. no rear light
6. exhaust isn't bolted up right
7. said grab bar was for a "shee"
8. who knows what else
But I picked it up anyway just because when I rode it, it had more power than I thought it should, of course I haven't ridden for a buncha years so maybe its just me. I paid $850 for it, plus $50 in gas cause it was 141 miles one way in my truck , plus I stopped at Cabela's and picked up a Lund tri-fold ramp for $150.

Not bad. Any running 350x is going to cost at least that much 90% of the time. I got mine for $500 but the guy THOUGHT it didn't run (he trusted the mechanic that was, in my opinion, just trying to squeeze the guy for more money). If it had just been bolted back together and able to be started it probably would have cost $800 or more and I wouldn't have bought it.

You can get a tri-fold ramp from harbor freight for $80 by the way.

I'd say you spent about $400 too much on that one. But who knows, the market fluctuates so much on those damn things next week it could be worth $2000.

yeah, I guess it depends on the area. I picked mine up for 700 bucks in great shape and a friend of mine has 2 for sale right now for 500 bucks!!!! ( for both ) he's in a tight spot and what kills me is that after my last couple of big red purchases, I don't have the extra bucks to buy them..... oh well.

that seems like alot to pay for somthing in that condition. I payed 1200 for mine (talked him down from 1500) and it came w/ a +3 swing arm, two sets of rear tires and rims, aftermarket exhaust, and it was in pretty nice condition over all (first kick, stuff like that). but if your happy with your purchase, then more power to you :TrikesOwn

A little pain, some sanding, a case saver and chain gaurd, and new oil/fuel and youll have a nice machine on your hands!

I paid $1000 for mine and it was 98% complete as far as being a weekend trail machine. The rear brakes needed a master cyl. kit and new pads and I had to buy a new tire and fork boots. Thats about all I've done to it that it really needed. The motor doesn't leak oil all over the place or nothin either. With that find I'd say good job because with a limited amount of these bikes being sold or found within a reasonable distance-price is few and far between. Good job man, now go have fun fixing and makin 'er all shiny and clean.:TrikesOwn

I'd say congratulations. First off I give you credit for posting pics before even washing it. Most guys would go home and spend time detailing and then post. Your trike is fresh. Once its all clean and pimped out with WD40 and Armor All, repost pics and I bet anyone here at 3ww would pay you what you paid for it, if not more.
Enjoy
