I've been reading up on these axles for awhile and have read nothin but good things about them.
some may remember some some may have forgotten but i am build an '85 Tecate with a modern rear end arangement with a 400EX carrier and axle, a 2001 raptor shock with '86 T3 strut rod.
Anywho, everywhere that I have seen the compitition axles at have been $399.00 or better and I really was not wanting to bite that bullet and pay that price. This morning i was searching for a better price and came across this web page www.team-ind.com they have them on sale for a significantly lower price than anywhere else. $139.00 is the asking price and you can bet your bottom dollar I bought one. The only draw back at first with this axle is that you have to use their compitetion hubs on this axle. Again no problem as every place else that I have looked they want $99.00 for a set. Then I found www.kandkatv.com and found the 4x110(honda) hubs for $69.99. The hubs will have to wait as the axle hit my pocket book. but for anyone else thats been wanting an extended axle for the 86R/400EX but didnt want to fork over the green backs, here is a sale price for ya. get while ya can as I dont know how long it will last
