Has anyone ever had their rims drilled for a second set of bolt patterns? Did you go through Douglas rims directly, contact a machine shop, etc. I've got some .190 Douglas rims that I'd like to fit both my TriZ and 250r, however they only have the TriZ pattern currently. If I can get both bolt patterns on one set, that's one less set I need to take for spares. I've tried to make a template in the past on rims and it always was a little off. Not much, but I'd like to be exact this time. Any suggestions or price quotes as to what was paid would be appreciated.

Why don't you just try swapping hubs from one bike to the other? They should interchange.

They each have a set of paddles on them. This would be a spare set in case of a major blowout that is beyond repair. I could just have one set of additonal tires instead of two each trip.

If you make a template off of a rim that has both patterns on it then its fairly easy to get it right on. Ive done many sets of rims and got the right on.
