ooooooooofff!!! looks like a fun project. whats with the post pics or dont post at all crap? some people i tell yah. must be from to many hits to the head from not wearing a HELMET!!! I have seen another thread on here, check out the raffa spanker thread, i think that guy is doing something similiar, but dont think its a cbr, i think he is using a ninja, and is building a dragbike to race raffa.

i hope your brother modified the oil pick up in that cbr before he stunted it (asuming he was doing 12s and stuff) other wise it will have been starving!

Oh my! That poor thing looks used and abused! The F2 was a great bike though. I think I saw something similar to what you are thinking of on ebay earlier this year. If I remember correctly it was built using 350X suspension and the frame, tank and motor from the streetbike. Not totally sure what the bike was that was used, may have been a cbr. If you were going to use a trike suspension, you'd definitely have to stiffen it up/ modify it though. Good luck!

stunters smash the tanks in so they can sit on them and not slide off. Looks ugly but functional for stuntability.

If you do some cutting measuring and wellding the stock swingarm is able to be modified to work with a trike bearing carrier. I would get a beat up 400EX or 350x/250R swingarm ad bearing carrier to cut the bearing carrier and 6 inchs of the swingarm off to welt onto the original swingarm of the bike.

the big problem is make sure the sprockets line up perfectly. or you will have all kinda problems down the road. i am starting with a diffrent project but i will have to see what the overall outcome is.

i just saw on the 3WW homepage that a company has already done this with a gsx-r 750......thats nothing like i have planned......BUT im gonna make a bike out of it first so i can get it street legal.....get it running right......then put the other fenders, swingarm, and front end on it........shouldnt be too hard....ill keep everyone posted on it....

MVD wont let me get it legal....they said that the machine would be "modified and not stable for street use" i see these fuckers on four-wheelers running legal motorcycle plates on their quads......its ridiculous......im going to get the bike its self running first.....or maybe I'll just make a go-cart out of it and run from the cops on it.....idk.....any ideas for the project that is now OFFICIALLY on the back burner?
