I have a 84 tecate that needs a fuel petcock. I can't seem to find one anywhere none on ebay, bike bandit does not carry it any more.So what I'm wondering what other petcock would work there. Anyone with any ideas?

Yeah,I seen that but really don't need a the whole tank because mine is red but if that is the only option is I may have to buy it just for the petcock.

what i have laways done is by a harley aftermarket one. they are like twenty dollars and can be very easily modified. probly half the machines i have owned i used this on. Especially the GT750's caus they always had petcok problems and a new one was very pricy. let me see if i can find the link.

I have found that this is the best and cheapest fix. after you install one of these you will never have a problem again. These are industructable and look nice too.

www.justatv.com has an after market, bolt on and go petcock on ther site.

you will ahve to take your old one off and measure the mounting holes center to center so you cant get the right one.

search for fuel petcocks and you will find them. everything is in alphebetical order. once you are at the petcock page scroll down about 7/8 of the page. when you find them look at the middle of the description and look for the bolt spread. I believe the tecate's are 34mm.

they are a little spendy but they look good and they are a one piece design
