Hey everyone, I'm new to these forums and would just like to say how happy I am to see such a good three wheeler forum!
-I own a Honda ATC 110, 1983 (blue). The problem is that it is no longer running due to a major crack in the frame that literally split the frame in two. The engine runs fine etc. I know since it was a smaller trike and it didn't have shocks that this was bound to happen, I would just like to say how much I miss it, it lasted me years and was well worth the 500 dollars I paid for it. It was practically new when I bought it, even though it was about 12 years old when I got it. Do you think there is anyway of fixing it? the front engine mount cracked when the whole frame broke, and I've been told that the frame can't be fixed sadly...

But on the good side, I went to NH last week and rode a Honda ATC 250S (I believe) fully shaft driven, reverse,semi-automatic, and even had electric start. And the best thing of all was that it was in mint condition! This was probably the best three wheeler I've ever rode and seen. It was fast and fun.
I also got to ride a Honda Big Red 200x (I believe, I know it was Big Red 200). This was a good three wheeler, but for a 200 it went very slow. It was chain driven, semi-automatic and ran great, also looking brand new!.

Out of them all the ATC 250 was amazing, probably the funnest ride I've rode. Three wheelers are so much fun!

So share your opinions on these machines and just chat. Also is there anywhere in the US that sells three wheelers and parts on the east coast?
Thanks Alot !
-JTM

definatly get a new frame. I wouldnt risk welding that one and killing yourself later.

As for the Machines, I think you mean a 250es Big red and a 200 Big red (200x is a totally different animal). If you can go with the 250, I think you'll have alot more fun, having suspension and all.

hey, welcome to the site. im also new and already love all of the info they have on so many trikes. and that 250 you rode, it was either a 250es big red or a 250sx, they're pretty much alike engine wise, the sx just has a sportier look to it. i say this because my freind has one and love it!!:TrikesOwn

Yeah must be the Sx or whatever. It had a very sporty look, and yes had shocks! I loved it, probably the nicest trike i've riden.

Yep Sx. Clarke tank, headlight guard, OEM front tire, looks like a very nice bike. But whats the story with the silencer ? looks like it has heat tape on it.

you sure bout that? :wondering The top posts look bent like the R's to me? I dunno... I have been known to be wrong before... :banned: I know the bolt on grille lenses are the same for the R as the sx.. Maybe the whole guards are as well?

I'm not sure about the muffler and the tape etc? Like I said it's not mine, but it was a great 3 wheeler!
