if you run 20's and bottom out the suspension real hard it'll rub the fenders.

I'm pretty sure that the old Maier ones were flat all the way across the back while the ones in the pick have a little bit of a lift on either side of the seat. The ones in the pics look "shiney" but the ones that I had on mine were back before Maier made shiney fenders.

I need to get some of those fenders for my flat tracker/ice racer, sucks they only come in red though......
ScottZJ how do/did you like those rear tires on your 250R???? I'm really considering getting a set....

I was merely referring to the "shiney" factor as a means to describe how long ago it was. Of course they are a lot different looking in other respects.
Oh, and keep an eye on ebay (or contact Maier), they used to come in white too but I guess not anymore.

Those tires rocked. I really liked the way they ripped around corners. Believe it or not they gave you the traction you needed but yet broke loose in the corners great.
Here is a pic of them working at a local race track.

I wouldn't use them for ice racing. I had them a long time ago, and the studs shredded them when the bike was lowered. I eventually trimmed them down. I now use the stock fenders because they are taller. The studs barely touch, only when I bottom out the suspension.
