My Updated 110 Resto pics

Well I'm stuck for awhile until I get the axle bolts I snapped for the rear sprocket, and the front axle rod that I stripped. (Howdy is the man!) So here is where it lays, I even included the snapped bolts. In order to put my forks back on, I have to make sure I have the correct hardware. I'll take a pic to show what I have (bearings, cup holders, etc.) but I think I'm missing some dust seals, I'm hoping one of you guys can tell me what I'm missing so I can atleast get the forks on!

I picked this up for $8. I cleaned my motor and all my parts in it. Very durable. That's a jar of gas, wire brush, tooth brush.

So that's it, everything is a Krylon special. Alot of things were sandblasted for free (bottle of whiskey) and i wasn't about to spend $$$ on a $300 machine until I knew what I was doing. I unloaded 2 cans of red on the forks and gas tank, and almost 2 full cans of clear!!! :shock: I know it'll chip off but I'll probably sell it seeing as though this is my first toy and it was a learning experience.

I like it! you would be surprised at how good rattle-can paint holds up. Nothing wrong with using it.

One other quick thing. Before I snapped those bolts, it was almost IMPOSSIBLE to put the chain back on it was so tight. I put the chain around both sprockets and put them on at the same time but it took me forever to get it on and when I did it was way too tight.

The chain tensioner doesn't really make sense to me, I mean to loosen the axle carrier bolts, I have to take all the brake drum bolts off, and then I was banging the crap out of the carrier, hitting it forward to maybe give it a bit more slack but it barely worked. Any suggestions?? :?

~~It might be the 20,000 coats of Krylon on the frame and carrier that aren't allowing it to move all that freely :oops:

To Loosen my chain, i loosen the axle carrier bolts with a I think its a 19 OR 17MM spanner,loosen the chain tensioner, tne stamp on the towhitch that is fastened to the baring carrier with a big trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro U-Bolt, to tighten I wind the tensioner nut back in and retighten bolts.
I wish my Tank looked that nice, we coudn't get Stickers so we had to maske them,mine wasn't really a restoration, more of a tidy up,we painted frame, tank and forks, recoveredthe seat, and rebored it.
