does his shift down or up. If his is up, then its indeed an 85. If it shifts down then its an 84 or lower

if the 10th letter in the vin is a E its a 84...if its a F its a 85 that will tell you the frame year

almost any time you see an off road vehicle that has been painted, be it a dirtbike, atv, snowmobile, etc, it is stolen. Only a moron or a theif paints atv fenders, i have seen it many times

Unfortunately there's a lot of both running around out there.

I have my house up for sale right now. If I sell it I'm going to have to store my trikes in a public self storage facility. Scares the hell out of me just thinking about it.

Damn. Too bad youre in AZ... You could store 'em here... I could make room.

;)

Seriously, good luck. Public storage is a horrible thing.

best thing is... you dont have a pink for the bike (probably) and so even if you find out its a 84... who knows what happens from there

He might have bought it from the guy that stole it, making him inocent............

Puts you in a bad spot to get the bike bake without proof of ownership. Im scared to death to lose one of my three bikes I dont have titles for.

Good luck.

i lock mine up with a disc lock, front and back and thinkin of a chain through all 3 tires....so then they would have to carry it away...and its on the back porch, you can kindof hear when ppl are walking on it

I wouldent have mine in my front yard but my brother thinks his tools are worth more than my trike, if it gets stolen he wouldent pay me back. So i have to lock it up to the boat in the front and just know one morning its not going to be there, since how i have atleast 50 tweakers on my street everynight. And they always looking to steal somthing, but most of them know not to mess with our house since it looks crazy and we have 7 cameras, but the monitor is in the garage so i cant see. Besides a roof view of my block and my front door which are wired to my room tv.
