I am sold on the Spider Trac's for mud and general riding. I use Holes Shot's for trail when its not muddy, and the ST's for snow, mud, and trail when I know the trail will contain good amounts of mud.(Spring, after a rain, etc....)

Spider tracks are a very good tire, especially for the 250sx. If your looking for somethign a bit more sporty, Kenda vipers are quite good but don't match a spider as far as versatility goes.

I don't know if this is the style you are looking for, but the price is right. I ordered a set and they look great on the back of a Big Red. Dennis Kirk is selling these tires for $38 each and he will send you a PAIR for $30 with shipping.

kyle- I have 22/11/8 GBC MUD-BUSTERS on my sx! Only mud tires I've ever had on it. But this winter and spring they really impressed me! Mud or snow they rip! Think they're about $40.00/ea. from rockymountainatv.com They also have good kit prices. I'm waiting on a set of 22/11/10 Fast-Trekkers on chrome .190 Douglas rims, as we speak! Wanted a set of trail tires for it too. As soon as they get here you know I'll be postin pics! The spider trac's look like a cool/good tire, but I think they are a 6 ply tire, rougher ride, and which is going to be alot heavier than the Mud-Busters (2ply). Less top end (ok for Big Reds, but sx's were made to go a little faster!) They are also more $$. Just depends on what you want and how much you want to spend!

Here's a couple of shots for you! 8) :D 8) :D 8)

I've got cheng-shin chevrons on mine, they work great in mud/snow, really hook in, a better tire might be the DURO mud/snow's, u can get them for 32.00$ a peice at www.atvparts.com im gonna have my shop put themn on my 250SX this summer. What ever you get make sure there 4ply, 2 ply sucks!

cheng-shin chevrons are a great tire for a four stroke. i have them on my four wheeler. I also have the all- tracks on my tecate and they rip. If you turn them around backwards i think that they work even better. They have to be my fave tire. they are not quite as good as the chevrons in the mud but they are better all around. I use them on the track and trail and they have no weakness.
