Sounds like a pain in the balls with the radiators - even if the rest got done. However a few of us mentioned the Blaster engine in the X conversion. Don't know how easy or difficult that is either. My deal on a motorless 200X fell through. One of us will try sooner or later.

actually the radiators won't be a problem, he said air cooled :). Isn't the chain on the right side on the R's and left on the X? I would think you could flip the axle or swingarm to do that though. I think you'd also have to do something with the front tube so the exhaust will fit. If I had an aircooled R motor I'd set it in my frame, just to see.

well do u think it would be really fast
cause my 200x frame is super light

also i think i might be able to do it with some minor mods on the engine mounts

does any one know of anyone whos ever tried?

It would be fast. 250r frames are as light as the 200x's. I know on my 83 r the chain goes on the right side. Then they switched it over on the 85-86's?? It would be a pain the ass to do it. But would be nice to see how it would look.

A while back in Dirtwheels they had a big thing on readers rides and one guy had a 1985 200x frame with a 1983 250r motor in it. It also had '86 250r suspension. It was one of the most classy atc's I have ever seen.
