As a few poeple know already I've just pick up a modified 84 Tecate with a KZ750 motor in it.It's not running at the moment needs carb work done to it.Hoping to have it ready buy Nov 5 for the drag races in New York to see what it will do.If not then it will be ready for Trikefest 07. It should be able to keep up with the big boys out there. I think that it will be quite the contender to be rekon with.will have to wait and see.

Hey Farmer,,, Randy (KZXT650) here on the boards has a tecate with a Kawi 650 in it. (Very profesionally done I might add) and I have been riding with him. It freakin flies with a 650 I could just imagine what yours is capable of. :naughty: :wondering He kept spinning the rear tires off the rims so you may want to consider running beadlocks on that badboy.

Your gonna want more the holeshots on that thing. I would recommend looking at an aggressive mud tire in a 22 inch size. Maybe GBC Dirt Devils or Mud Lites, Mud Sharks would be a good pick as well.

hey, is that the kz750 twin, or 4 cylinder? I've got a twin, but haven't done much with it yet. They are only rated at 55hp, so I've stayed with the Honda 750-4. The Honda's are easier to get parts for too.
My Money is on that 490 Raaag Or the little ol "two fiddy" but that 750 will have some Wicked Top end GO!!!!

you could try this 900 honda with an LT 250 front and swinger. The thing won't hook up at all except on grass, won't turn except at slow speed, but the top end is nuts once you get rolling

Its not on E-bay, I helped build it, a person I know owns the thing, it is for sale for 5k he'd probably let it go for 4. I rode it a total of 6 or 7 times, its extremely top heavy for me, absolutly unstable side to side because of the layout, won't steer worth a darn at more than 40kph, but if you get the shot and hook up its just nuts in a straight line, he wanted it for a high speed trail machine cause of his size/weight, it doesn't work. The motor has got less than 10 hours on it from brand new, he wanted it modified for ice and no one around here who knows its history will touch it, I don't believe that even +4 on the axles and front would overcome the top heavy instability (85% of the total weight is above the center of gravity, without the rider!), and the HP just does not allow the thing to be effective on a hook up in less than 3rd gear.
