View Full Version : Super Rare 200r parts showed up.. UPDATED PICS!!!!

When I bought the National racer ATC 200r which I thought was a deal for 1500.00 the owner told me he would send some extra parts....He went away on a trip and couldnt find a big box etc...so its been a while. One of those parts was a rare white ATC 200r/250r fiberglass fender which he WON at a national race for placing ...he didnt know what it was...Well it showed up Yesterday and it IS identified on the bottom:w00t: :w00t:


The ATC 200r had the short track tank kit put on it and thats what is on it righ now...he sent me the original tank and shrouds...but check out these 22 year old ATC 200r decals...Not layered and people didnt do ATC repros back in the day....I am assuming these decals may have been aftermarket for the racers who converted to the 200cc 2 stroke class...I got the fender, tank shrouds, original headlight shell and hondline guard all at no extra charge!!!

So whats the deal on your 200R? Is it a Selvy's kit or just a smaller sleeve?

Your deprived! lol j/k

They were only 250R's with a sleeved down displacement motor or a destroke/debore kit that Selvy had available. You could get 200 kits for Tecates and Tri-Z's as well.

Not a curtis sparks fender (good guess though), The man who made the fender put his business card in the mold so you can see it underneath the fender and it is coated with transparent fiberglass ...cool!!!

This motor was not a sleeved down motor or a selvy's. This one was done by cam x (not sure if I have the spelling right)

VERY NICE!! Some pics of the 200R would be even better and you bringing a couple of your rare machines out to "show off" when we go ice racing on Greenwood Lake would be even better.

What will you be doing with these? Mounting them on the trike? Have you made up your mind what exactly you'll be doing with this R? :naughty:

hey Blue27 i have a set of those fiberglass fenders for a 83-85 200x. i got them from Mac Mohr. i'll have to check if there that type.

Not exactly sure yet for the project as a whole but I do know I will definetly mount these on at some point down the road to check it out since it is part of the history of the machine. I think the Dean S fenders would be the icing on the cake for this machine.

For those who missed the past thread here is the 200r I have

I have a set of fiberglass fenders for a 200x I got off LonsomeTriZ. Macky told me Curtis used to make the fiberglass fenders for the 200x's. Might be interested in another set(mine are trimmed) I know last time I talked to Mackey he was looking for a set but that was a year ago (when I bought his Tiger!!!!):naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

If you are talking about mine he said Maier Racing fenders but I never saw the Maiers 250r low profile fenders before....does anyone have a set?? Did they change them?? They still list them in there catalog I beleive.

When I have some extra time in the next few months as the weather changes here I could check it out. They seem like they are fragile as heck and have a small nick that could get bigger and some stress lines so taking the chance of shipping them would not be an option...I would have to hand deliver them to the mold maker...Jared from speed and sport gave me the heads up a while back on someone who could do it.

I bought a set of white ones 5 years ago thinking that low-profile meant they were narrower than standard ones. When they arrived I really didn't like the way they looked and sold them to a buddy of mine. He has them on his R but he cut them down like I did with my regular Maier's. They looked just like the ones on your 200R. Maybe Maier is just selling off whatever stock they have left on them?
