Well, I gettin close to the point in my project where it's tim to tear into the engine. I wanted to get some opinions before I did. Before I pulled the motor I spent some time and got it to start (after sitting fo 6 years)..it took a while but when I finally did it sat and idled for at least 10 minutes without a miss or sputter...however it did start to smoke..a lot. So i guess my question is how much work do you guys think it will need. I'm thinkin maybe just rings and re-hone the cylinder...maybe valve seals? It has plenty of compression when you try to kick it..just some smoke....what do you guys think?
