Hey Daz
make sure you wash it down otherwise it will rust and quick.....
to answer your question...depends....i have 200x road legal which is on my farm insurance ... you just need plates and a brake light but you restricted to 25miles from your house.....no MOT's ,no Tax (it's free) the other way is to go for a proper V5 vehicle which you need horn, indicators, brake light ,mirrors, road stamped tyres, you will need to get a MOT every year and Tax is £165 a year.....
think that's it

atc's on the road legally? never heard of that, unless the weathers bad.... just about everyone here owns some sort of atv, atc, dirtbike, dune buggy or something, so its a matter of how the cops days goin, the neighbors hardly complain, hell, sometimes they hop on their thing and join in the fun

Yeah, it's funny that here in the USA which is supposedly "The Land of the Free" we can't do that in most places. You guys in the UK are lucky to be able to get them road legal with relatively little hassle.

Hi Daz , you need a V55 form , fill it out as Agricultural , you can ring them and they will tell you how to fill it in , before you submit it you will need insurance against the frame number as you have no plate yet , try Whiitlesy insurance or famers union mine cost around £250 , if you want an age related plate ie A reg for an 84 machine you will need proof of age letter from Honda ring their main HQ I think its in reading , they told me it would be £25 but they returned the cheque so it was free. Hand all that in to your local DVLA office they take the details and send you a form to get your number plate , then you change the insurance to the Reg from the frame no , depending on the age you might no need a brake light , look the agri laws up they are so vague the coppers dont know them , but I think you may need a speedo I didnt but I never got stopped , you dont need road legal tyres if you dont go above 25 m/hour. Best thing is try to learn the agri laws or have them printed off for when you get tugged

i guess here in Indiana we are lucky. With sending the DNR $7, I can get plates for my atvs that allow me to ride on county roads in my county. I never have, and I have thoguht about it, but I ride on the roads anyway, and i've passed cops so many times. In fact I did today, lol. BUt aslong as you're not speeding and have a helmet on and not driving like a maniac, they won't pull you over.

I'm in Noble.
I'm guessing Cass is in the southern part, for I have never heard of it before. I can check for you though.

Hi DazUK

I can't wait to hear if you get this sorted. I had a real nightmare registering my monkey bike a couple of years back (and that had a full EEC certification). Fingers crossed for ya mate ;)
