I have had this 350x for 4years and have not had any problems starting it. But the first trip out this year she would not start when cold. only after kicking for ever with about a half a can of starting fluid will it start. after shes warmed up it starts on the first kick. ive tried choke on and off and tried dicconecting the decompression cable. also have put on a Brand New Carb. also new gas. any ideas would be appreiciated....

I'm not sure if this would apply to your type of situation, but I had some problems like that with mine.. and i cleaned the carb, the screen in the botton of the petcock, and about every other thing I could think of. I came to find out I had a bad connection in some of my wiring so I went over every connection with this stuff used for electrical wiring that prevents it from corroding and also helps the connection conduct electricity more effectively... It drove me crazy until I figured it out accidently. Now I never have any problems with it at all.
