Hi there,
I bought my atc and it hadn't the stock 250r forks on it. It was a bigger forks (maybe from a motocross) and they had to pry the triple three to had it fitted (the aluminium cracked a bit). I found a stock forks (dunno if it's from a 200x or 250r) as welll as a triple three... I have also reversed the forks so the front wheel is farther from the bike and it has a better look. The old caliper doesn't fit the new fork so I will look to get one.

My question is, can I install a front caliper with having my front fork reversed?

Do the brake rotor is the same for the front and rear. A rock hit my rear rotor and blew it up.

I will look for a picture, it will be more clear.

mine was like that when I got it, I didnt like it like that so I turned the forks back the way they are susposed to be, you'll notice that your trike wont turn as quick with the forks like that, aslo the factory had them like that for a reason, my whole trike jsut handled like crap like that, with them in the stock location everything is great.:pics:

That looks like a 350X tree and forks. Forks for sure. Just my two cents.

You may be right, I have no clue which one it is. Which caliper would fit the front? What about the trx250r front calipers? 350x, 200x,...

Is is the same rotor for the front and rear on a atc?

yeah, it sucks like that, horrible steering, and at a certain point when your turning it wants to pull the handlebars out of your hands, pointless...i did it on my drag trike, to a) lengthen the front to put more weight out front and b) to make more room for the pipe when i pulled the upper spring out of the forks and dropped the forks 5 inches in the triples.

I finally got away for a weekend dune trip a few days ago. It was the first ride since I did the inverted fork conversion on the 250R, and they are now leading axle. I found that the steering was much quicker with the leading axle setup, and that took a few hours to get used to, but other than that, I noticed no other handling issues. While moving the bike around the garage, I found that the bike is much easier to manuever, with the leading axle setup now.

That looks like a 350X tree and forks. Forks for sure. Just my two cents. They definitely aren't 350X forks, as 350X forks have the front brake caliper mounts on the back side of the left fork leg.

Wow red rider I love your trike with the HPP system. It must have serious power beginning at a low rpm.

With the fork been inverted, it's harder to pop a wheelie. Trike with tons or power should try it.

Does anyone know which caliper would fit my forks. And does the caliper fit well with the fork been inverted and the rotor (axle leading)?

What about the trx250r front caliper?

Looks like stock 250R front end to me. The caliper mount is on top becasue the shocks are reversed so I don't see why a stock atc 250R caliper would not work.
