Bought a new trike today-what is it Yamaha guys?

I picked up another trike today at a vintage motorcycle meet here in Northern KY. The number on the steering head is 3x3 006214. What is it? A Tri Moto 125? It needs some work but should fit nicely inbetween my Hondas. I can't get the pictures to load here, I'm dial-up slow!

Yes, 1980 was the first year for the 125 Tri Moto,and that was the first ATV ever made by Yamaha.

1980 was the first year here in the states. 1979 in japan.Only a rare few made it stateside. 80 + 81 are identical parts wise- 1982 alot of stuff was redesigned. 82-85 are identical with a few minor exceptions. The "Jap 1979 " models were Identical to the later 82-85 units. 83 the whole concept was revamped to add 50cc and front suspension and the necessary fabrication mods--- Thus ---THE TriMoto YT175. Not the "BALLSIEST" of rides , but Gobs of fun, and almost Unbreakable( Unless you wiegh 375 Lbs, and Try "LOG BOUNCING" it) Ive Had my 82 since it was new, Although its been packed away in pieces for the better part of 20 years, and I dont regret it for a minute. It Has been the Perfect "STARTER" ride for the kids, And still willing to take a beating when I want to blast around.

You guys are great! Thanks for the help. So....what was the first Suzuki and Kawasaki 3 wheelers? See the direction I'm going in now 1970 US90, 1980 YT125.......... what's next?
