What's the best way of going about finding the leak? I can't see anything wrong...

Let Me Know With A Pm If You Need Anything. I Have Radiators And Hoses. I Would Say Start It Up And Look For It To Leak. If Its In The Radiatori Would Just Replace It. Should Be Easyto Findif Its Leaking Externally. Are You Sure Its The Radiator And Nothing Else. If Its Leaking Outside You Should Spot It Right Away.

I've seen stuff at Autozone made just for fixing leaking radiators. Not sure how well it works but it may be worth a try. I saw it around the gasket sealers, glues, and stuff like that.

Ok, so, it only leaks when it's running. If there was a hole in the radiator, wouldn't it leak all the time? Should I go ahead and look for the tube?

Ok, so I found the leak. It was the fluid containter, it has a crack in it. Now, will an '85 work with an '86?

No. The 85-86 overflow containers are different. THe 85 mounts under the seat and the 86 on the side of the frame above the sprocket.
