the original ban (of production and new sales) ended in 1997 so i do not know whta they are talking about.

it was a 10 year ban just like the high cap magazine for hand guns.

There is no ban, nor has there ever been one - the Concent Decree was a binding document signed by Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha and Kawasaki stating that they would voluntarily suspend the sales and shipments of new three wheeled ATV's into this country for a specific period of time in order to avoid a major class action law suit, and ultimately federal legislation brought on by the CPSC on behalf of all of us good little citizens of the USA in order to protect us from ourselves. The reality of the situation is that if they hadn't signed it and the government ultimately got involved, there may be NO ATV's of any type today to ride. ATV development was well on its way to a more all around stable design in four wheelers so it wasn't a big deal for them to sign it. Polaris incidently never signed the Consent Decree. I also should point out that the Chinese company that makes these so called "new" trikes obviously never signed it either. That being said, the decree expired after 10 years - so its binding effect is no longer valid anyway.

Actually I'm pretty sure the CPSC did infact reinstitute a new ban on the importation of three-wheeled ATVs.

Is that 14 days from when you get it or pay for it? 3days to pay? Hmm...sounds funny to me. Just to sell the product and get it out the door pronto. However, the kids end up getting tickets for riding in the street and they want to return it saying it was defective but wont give the opportunity for them to fix the problem.

i would not buy one like that but, if it looked like a 250r or 350x i would jump on it.

Thats just one of those scooters from Pep Boys. I was thinking it was a REAL atc not some street bike wannabe with training wheels. I still wouldn't buy one.

yeah they look really cheap, but i want one just to say i have a 2006 3 wheeler. and they would be fun to screw around on in the backyard. i found the specs for one of those and its supposed to go 37 mph which is fast enough for one of those little things.
