I have never rebuilt a atv/atc/motorcycle engine before.

If i rebuilt a 200x engine myself, standard bore, just hored with new piston and rings. will i have to take the piston and rod to a shop and have them press the wrist pin out? or will i be able to remove it myself somehow? like i said ive never rebuilt one, so i don't know if the pins and pressed in or not. thanks ;)

or if i left the same piston in there and just put in new rings, how would i get the rod off the crank? is there just a rod end cap with bolts?

there are clips that hold the wrist pin in. so you should be able to take the wrist pin out your self, make sure while your in the motor, check for wear on bearings, valves, timing chain, etc. i hope this helps.

Dammit!

Wrist pin comes out easy. Just stuff a rag in the bottom end so the circlip doesn't drop down there. You don't need to remove the rod. I'd recommend taking the cylinder to a shop and having it mic'd to see if just a hone is appropriate or if it needs a bore.
