awright, here we go, I got my 85 tri-z opened up, the top of the piston is burnt on the intake side, and the #2 ring almost snapped getting it off. There was no moving it at all when on the piston by hand, I had to use a pick to free it up. The piston is a .50 over OEM. the piston has alot of markings from slapping around in the jus as well. the jug measures at 69.10 mm
My question to you is this...a wiseco .60 over, or just go .80 over. Either way, I'm having the piston coated by Performance Coatings in Auburn Wa.
Does anyone know of any other piston options, like Pro-X or Vertex?

Yup.... got it from T.D.R. In Pompano,Fla... he bored the Cyl. too ..

they don't offer the trike flavor, so it is a YZ as you mentioned this morning, I did some more x-referencing and went for it. Gonna have the jug ported as well. Can't ride a totally stock trike in the sand, right? :D
