Ok, so I am working to get a Tri-z I found near me forsale. I've sold a few things and gotten money, now I am deciding whether I REALLY want one or not. Are they anygood in the snow? Winter is coming up so I have to decide whether I am storing it or riding it. What are the regular maintanence routines? Are parts readily available? It's got a mild port and exhaust, so qould it keep up with my buddy's 450's? What premix is the best?
Thanks.

I am sure you will get many different opions on this, but i run all my 2 strokes at 44-1 premix with maxima 927.Some say it stinks, some love it.I have never blown a top-end yet.I probably run a little richer then some would, but i like the extra protection, and i never foul a plug.Regular maintenance? The normal.Air filter, trans oil, check your compression from time to time, flush your brake fluid at least once a year, chains and bearings, nothing that shouldnt be done on any other machine. As far as parts, most of the stuff is fairly easy to get a hold of.Radiator shrouds,in stock form seem to be the hardest to get, some small parts are discontinued.Footpegs, some of the gears in the side cover, seats are getting harder to find in good condition. But,were this a will there is a way.As far as snow, any trike rules over a quad in the snow.Keeping up with 450's,should not be a problem. It is all in the rider.

Alright thanks.
Kind of off topic, but it's nice to see women(your wife) on trikes every now and then.:beer
