Hey you Tecate gurus, Ive been thinking about the rear swing arms.

Do you think a T-4 swing arm will bolt up to an 86/87 T3?

If so, you could fit a round bearing carrier and get replacement wide axles for T3B's. That would be great

P.S I've enclosed a piccie of a T3a that's currently for sale on ebay. I like the colour scheme, too bad I can't find deals like that here in OZ

I think it would bolt up with a little custom work to make the shock mounts work. Pretty sure the swingarm mounting locations are the same as the 86/87.

Oh and that 85 T3 is beautiful!

Yeah, Its a bit rough around the edges, but it looks hot.

As for the T4 swinger, anyone here got a T4 swingarm that they could measure up? I would need to know if the shock linkage mount is in a similar location, how long it is eye to eye and how wide it is

The Tecate4 has a linkage that is under the swingarm. At the very least you'll need a mount added to the top of the T4 swingarm for the T3 "dogbone" to attach to.
