what ever happend to the Roost boost??

The Answer roost boost, i remember these back in the day but i was never sure if they really increased performance? Do they have anything like that now??

It changed the timing I had one on a TRX250X with a Four Stroke Tech Motor, it mellowed it out and made it more controlable for GNCC, IMickey and I were testing it down at his shop and I ran it for a couple of races, think I still have it, but don't know if it works any more, wasn't worth the money I think it burnt out. I think we pulled it off when we detuned the motor (it was to radical for woods). but I don't remember.

my understanding is that they were a waste of money, kinda just like a amp-link, package says they are good, but they don't do a thing.
