Yes... it's a 4/110 on the 250's. Anyone know if there are any hubs that interchange? Also, what rims will fit and clear the brakes? I picked up another Big Red, but it has TRX250ES front rims bolted on the back. Got to dig up some other Big Red parts for it too...

The SX and ES rims will fit as I'm sure you know. Also most aftermarket 9" rims have a big enough bell to clear the brake drum. I know for sure both the ITP steel and aluminum fit as well as Douglass.

the sx wheel will not fit on the rear right of a 87 big red and i think the 86 drum is the same. but it will fit the 85. i do not know what model you have.

That's funny since I swapped out my 85 SX rear for an 86 and the rims fit just fine. As far as I know the only difference between the 85 and 86-87 rims is the lug nuts. The 85's had flanges and the 86-87 were tapered seat.

there is a plate or some thing (i do not know what you would call it) that goes on the rear brake drum of the 86 and the 87 it will not allow the sx factory wheel to fit being that the sx has a 8" wheel. that plate that i am talking about is part number 43431-HA0-680. i do not know what is function is but i pulled the wheels off of my 85 sx pars ike the other day and tried to put them on the big red and they would all fit but the rt rear and the rim was hitting that plate or sheild what ever you call it.

what sizes of rims will fit the 85 250es like 25 x 8 x 12 ? or similar sizes i want to run a little bigger than my stock 25x10x9 as you probably know im new to the customizing thing. i still want to keep lots of power tho.
