Well, yesterday was the day.... I tore it down to a roller, and scrubbed it clean. It will head to the sandblaster and powder coaters this next week. I have a black set of radiator shrouds on the way from Aussieduner, black front fender from Maier, yellow rear fender from Maier, OE replica decals from some vintage joint. And a stank load of OE yammie parts on the way to make the rebuild a perfect go. I want close to stock, but prefer a black front fender. What do you folks think? Here are some progress pictures.

the first picture is the moment It dropped out of the truck, then the tear down.

If anyone wants the diamond plate radiator shrouds that I took off, they are yours for the cost of shipping after I get my new ones from AussieDuner :D

Im all about the milk crate style. You can go as high or as low as you want.

Must have been a pain getting it up there

due to a development of a cash shortage, the trike did not go to the blaster and coaters. I'm headed to Coos Bay Oregon for Thanksgiving with a group of friends. I decided to just get the motor fully assembled and running so it will be broke in before I go to the dunes.

Sweet Z, even without the blaster and coater. Good to see the Z's getting their share of the love.
