We picked up an 85 250R on Monday. Rob let me pick between his Z and this. I rode them both around and i liked this better. The Z is just waaay too sick, freaky, scarey fast  I think Moshman wanted this one, but he said i could have it if i wanted it. Looks like steak dinners for him for next couple weeks  . anyways, the 1st mod was we added an OTC sticker, Thanks Dogg! The forks were bent so tripod Troy donated a set till we can get new ones. Moshman put in new axle bearings, rear pads, E-brake block off plate, new clutch cable, fresh oil, and a Corey Sprock billet red thunb throttle. Tripod Troy also donated a 350X headlight assembly till we can get an R headlight. Moshman is out there now, installing a DG pipe and FMF silencer as i'm posting. Next mods will be YFZ 450 rear tires, +3 swinger, custom seat :naughty: and a few other little nic nacs. I'm taking it on it's first trail ride this Saturday :w00t: . I am actually going to leave my Banshee at home. Special thanks go out to 2 of our really cool friends :beer Mr. fat etheopian and Mrs. MX :D

She runs great. Just put the pipe on. Mr. Mosh says it still needs jetted.Yes,its a Honda, but lets face it, they are just more reliable.Plus it is a 250r.Womens class for trikefest mx,this could be the line up, Dawn, Shelly,Mrs.Hall? and Mrs. Raffa?and myself. How bout it Tim? 5 girls = womens mx class at trike fest 07?
Yeah, Dammit. You guessed correctly. I could fill up a 250r shirt real nice for ya

I suggest you take your Banshee too as backup. Sounds like you havent had a Honda in while! I think you made a wise choice in selecting the Honda and leaving the TriZ for Rob. The Honda is a perfect choice FOR A GIRL!!!!

What was the guy who got first place in the A class this past weekend riding again? :banned: :welcome:
I rode that R briefly at trikefest. The jetting was all hosed at the time but it seemed like a good trike. A little freshening up and it should run strong. I'm not sure where in Ohio you are but the shop that built my R motor back in the 80's is in Toledo. When you're ready for some more power, they'll make that thing rip. :D

Oh, i'll take real good care of her Rick! No worries there. I have perma grin. Rode her in the yard again last night and i think we wil get along great! I will try to get you some pics on Saturday, but don't go missing her. You will have to come take her from my cold dead hands...lol
TimSr, can't take the shee. Just not enough room on the trailer for that. It has been awhile since I have been on a trike, so this is my "re-learn" trip.
atcTim, Thanks! Yeah, Troy is very happy. He showed up with an armload of parts.

Wow! I can't believe you remember that, I thought the memory was the first thing to go:lol: After all, that was 8 years ago! You must be talking about the detour I took on the 225. I might add that neither the trike or myself were hurt in anyway. I rode her out! Hey, at least i was out there! I do wanna say thanks to you Tim, you rode that thing back up out of there:eek:
This trip was much better. No floppin of any kind. I put pics in another thread.

Hey Chris, thanks a lot! I'm trying. Little different then my shee....a lot different! It just goes up hills. I thought that would be spooky but it's the coming down that is funky.

Oh we have some Hondas but they just never got ridden. The back up bikes that you know you can depend on.
Trade the shee  ? I don't think i could ever part with her. Rob mentioned selling his shee awhile back. I say keep what we have, get more bikes, and add on to the garage:D
