Hi I was down at a local powersports dealer today, looking for a new frame for my Big Red, and he says go out back and see if you can find one. Well I didnt find a frame, but I found one of those 110s that are blue. Its got mostly everything, minus the headlight and shroud, but it turns over and shifts, and has all plastics that arent too bad, but the rear one has a small chunk missing from the corner. It needs new tires and a seat cover, but it is definately restorable. Anyway he said 150$ and its mine. I dont know if it runs or if the engine has major problems, but like I said it turns over so would it be worth 150$ or should I try to talk him down? Im not sure what 110s are worth let alone blue ones.

Buy it now. Those blue ones are worth big bucks. Restore it using NOS parts and you might get anywhere from 1000 to 2000 bucks if you sell it again. :)

it is true - they are worth some big bucks if in nice shape - the problem is the availability of the OEM blue plastic. It will be really hard to find replacements for it - as well as the blue headlight bucket it needs - none the less - for $150, it's a steal!

The Blue atc 110's are really cool. They were only made for the 1983 model year. I picked mine up for 300. And it is in near mint condition. I bought it from a friend, who got it from an elderly gentleman that had it in a garage for years. If you want to do a restore I would go for it, but that's me. It’s kind of hard to advise you a $ value without seeing pics. I would say 150 is a steal, and I would buy it now. :naughty: They are rare and hard to find. They are worth big bucks and even bigger bucks to the right people. Keep us up to date, and get some pics when you can.

They were only made for the 1983 model year. date.

Nope - check the ebay link above for a picture, then compare the tank and fender decals to your 1983 model - different - they were made in both 83 and 84.:naughty:

What ebay link? According to two of the local Honda dealers they only made them for 83 model year.:naughty: No big deal though, all Blue 110's and 70's are good :w00t:

I believe the blue 110s are worth more, but not much more than the red 110s, just because there were less made. The decals and the blue parts are the only differences. If you go to the links section on the home page, look for the honda brochure page and you will see the brochure with the blue 110 in it. Only 1 year for the blue 110. I don't know of any particular numbers made for the blue 110. I believe the rarer trike has always been the blue atc70 which was never sold by honda, only given away. If you really look you can find blue 110 parts. I've seen 2 or 3 sites that have them, but only a piece or 2 on each site. I would try looking overseas for the blue 110 parts. The really impossible to find parts are the blue atc70 parts. Either way, a blue 110 would be a good score and a neat conversation piece.

Guys - as far as I knew before this week - I thought they were only made for 1 year too - but this is proof (I think anyways). Look at the decal changes below 1983 to 1984 - the 84 says 110 on the rear fender by the pullstart area - and look at the difference in the gas tank decal. I have serious doubts honda would have 2 seperate decals in 1 model year - is this not proof??????

Also - that Honda ATC brocshure site has been down for a while now (at least 6 weeks!)

Ditto on the ATC brochure site.
Kinda miss it, settled a few arguments with it .

Hehehehe... that's kinda funny... cause I found a Blue 110 carcass down the road. It had a really nice front fender and headlight, and I ended up shipping those parts overseas! I still have the rest of the carcass... it's a 1983. Anyone need the blue forks?
