Just Bought 1985 Honda 250 Es Big Red For Cheap Because It Had No Spark So I Heated The Coil Up And There Was Spark But It Any Runs For A Few Seconds, Does Anybody Have Any Advise Thanks

if you heated the coil and it ran then you may need a new coil.

Ok Thats What I Figured Thanks. It Also Had A Rusty Tank I Cleaned Out Do U Think I Should Rebuild The Carb.

I dont know that trick what do you guys mean by heated the coil?

I Put The Coil Under A Grow Light For 10 Min. And It Got Real Hot Then I Put It Back On. A Friend Said To Put It In The Oven.

really never new that so if the coil is bad and you heat it will work

you can also put them in the freezer ive done that too. yea man i would clean/rebuild the carb.

just remember. if you mess with the air screw remember where its set at. i forgot where mine was now im trying to figure it out lol. but overall its not to hard. make sure you clean it good man.

I live near the coast, which sucks balls. If you want to live here because of the powder riding in the winter, you'll want to go to the interior like Fairbanks.
