The fat cat part of it makes me sick... It could have used some plastic before though. lol

I believe you can use a 250x pressure plate to make the SX a manual clutch. Pretty wild though how he was able to do it being shaft drive and all

Quick question...

What model trike in 87 had a shaft drive, electric start, reverse, and manual clutch? Drum brake on front with a wide front end.

I was taking a walk with my wife on Monday in the in-laws neighborhood and there was one of these sitting in the yard beside a gas grill. It was kinda rough with a dented steel tank, but very rideable looking.

I stopped briefly trying to figure out what I was looking at as all the stickers had been removed except the steering neck sticker that read 1987 (mfg late 86)

Looked like a 250SX with a manual clutch. I thought they were auto clutch.

they are. Could be a 250ex motor stuffed in. They come with manual and auto clutch now right?

Nope, just a auto clutch. Why change that motor (the 250ex) when you could upgrade a little bit and just get a 300EX with the manual clutch.

Probably so kids could learn to use the manual clutch better. Think about it, a manual clutch that doesnt stall.
