could sombody tell me what weight oil goes in the forks and how much? i need to replace the fork seals. while im in there im going to re lube the caliper slides and goose neck bearings. any thing else i should look for while i have the front end torn down? also can i just pump air into the forks from a reguler pump. how many pounds should they have or is that for bleeding all the air out? i do not have the bible on this model yet and im a bit confused. thanks guys

Use ATF (automatic tranmission fluid) Dexron 3. You can also use 10W fork oil. I've always used ATF.

Per the Honda manual, ATF is a competent substitiute. That's all I've ever used.

don250r, check out the 'Spookefest ride' in the Local riding forum, the ride is here in AR.
