I just picked it up a couple of weeks ago. it runs buy has no power, I checked the timing, changed the plug, actually the hole was stripped so I taped it for a 110 plug. the motor smokes a little, I installed new fuel filters and the gas flows free. I pulled the carb apart a few times. the small jet was clogged I used a pin vixe and cleaned it. large jet was kinda dirty. I did the same to it too. Ive blown carb cleaner through it everywhere but when you ride it it acts like it wants to run out of gas. it does Idle slow. I screwed the mix. screw out 2 turns and when you turn it, it doesnt make a noticable difference. the other slide screw is screwed all the way in. and it still idles slow. I noticed whoever had it before installed the choke inside the throat somehow, I moved the clip on the slide needle up and down and no difference. Am I missing something? the floats not adjustable. valves are adjusted and I checked the cam timing. Im to a point of buying another unmolested carb and trying that.
By the way whats up with these ATC 70's I bought a 125m and a 200x and I spend more time playing with the 70 than the other two. Jim

Check the points, there probably worn and need replaced or adjusted, and take the the jet s outa the carb to clean it, Use compressed air in all the ports...
